anyone pre-order or get their hands on one yet. ive spoken with one guy who said he loves it and casts better than the 13.  i had already ordered a 13 Met i found for 277 and should be here in a day or so. tempted to wait for some more feedback on the MGL's before i use it

The good news is you know you can sell your 13 Metanium for over $300 now if you choose to.

dude let us know about it this weekend.  im all set to hit that order button if its indeed a better reel than the 13

If I were you I'd get one while I could tbh. There's a slim chance it's not better .. I'd get another but I need a ocea jigger for a dry tortugas trip in July and I'm sending some reels to IAN so I'm not allowed to buy anymore Reels per my wife . (Recenty married sigh) .

There are a couple guys on TT that already have them.  They have all good things to say about them so far.  I am going to wait for the  reviews after the "new hotness" effect wears off.  Plus I am a lefty so, I could not get one anyways.  If it is better than the '13 I will get one without a doubt.  The '13 met is the best low profile caster I have ever used.

Mine will be here tomorrow ..by  Tomorrow evening I will know for sure . 

Just ordered an XG today. Can't wait for it to get here. Will give my thoughts when it does.

I have a Met MGL XG flying over the Pacific as we speak.  I'm interested to see how it measures up against the 2013 Metanium.  

Dare I ask what the differences are?  The 13 metanium is a sweet reel

Curious as well. JDM sites are not very in-depth when listing features. 

i hope the differences are minor and not worth the upgrade so i wont have to sell off my 13 met that hasnt got here yet to order an mgl and wait another week or so.  im ready to fish this thing!
