I was looking at the Supernate beetle by molix, but I couldn't find any reviews about the thing?  Has anybody had some type of experience with it?  What kind of action does it resemble?  Thank you

From ikes videos on it it's basically a jitterbug

saw some videos a while back, looked pretty good, but i don't know about $15 good...  i'll wait for some more reviews on it when topwater time rolls around for most of the country.

My thing with this bait, it's basically a topwater frog but with a jitterbug type action. I can't see it having that action if it's contacting vegetation during the retrieve though, so it would need to have enough room to complete it's roll/wobble without hitting weeds. If there's enough room for it to do that without hitting weeds, then there's enough room for a bait with trebles like a regular jitterbug, and I'll take trebles over frog hooks any day if I can. I guess you could use it for weed patches with open holes in the middle, but that's where I like to pause my bait, not reel it through quickly.
