That is horrid!

That's my EDC weapon! I have a smaller 380 version covered in $20s for when I need a smaller CCW.

It appears the folks at Hi Point have a sense of humor. They also know their target demographic...

I am surprised that thing doesn't come with peel and stick serial numbers.  Would make it easier to get rid of.

When I took my CCW class, there were a few there who had brought Hi Points.  I could see the instructors rolling their eyes when they saw them.  After several FTE's, stovepipes, and various other general failures, I decided that Hi Points are far more effective if put in a sock and used as a bludgeon...

When I took my Concealed Carry course a man and his wife showed up for the shooting qualification with two brand new pistols, a 40 mm High Point and a Glock 380 (G42). Neither pistol had been inspected, cleaned, lubed, or fired. The Glock ran flawlessly after the instructor showed the woman how to hold it properly and applied a couple of drops of oil to the slide. I don't know why anybody would use a gun with such a bad reputation. I understand that they are inexpensive but wouldn't you pay the extra money for something you may use to save your life.
