Anyone have any reviews/experiance with these rods? How do they compare to other $200ish rods (Avids, Zodias etc)

TT did a review. It scored well but the review turned me off trying it. Seemed to have more bad than good in areas that count but the megabass name gave it a boost. I came away with average blank and really tip heavy.

Considering the flat side special or the launcher but have refrained due to lack of feedback.Will be interested to see if anybody has some input.

average is what i felt when i handled one, but it offers many med-fast/regular taper that not many other brands have, if you are looking for that kind of action.

I'm assuming they're SIC guides?

I was excited about getting one but the consensus seems to be they are just an ok rod. Not the greatest for reel techniques and tip heavy. Perhaps an alright moving bait rod. Since hearing the less than impressive reels I have decided to pass on the series as a whole.
