I made a post before talking about how I found a pond near my house and tried it out to see what it was like. I couldn't upload pics for some reason. So here is an updated post with a link of the pictures.  I was using a 1$ spinner from Walmart and caught my biggest bass which was a 9lb and then a 7lb 10 mins later. http://imgur.com/a/a6EHc

Shane, you have found your own honey hole.

Do not share its location with anyone.

Before you know it the pond will be devastated by those who want to take the bass  home to eat or have no respect for the location and destroy it.

Keep this type of information to yourself while you post pictures with the understanding that you will double check the background so you will not give your position away when taking the photos.

I agree 100%.

Do not share the location with anyone .  Edit the post so more people don't know about it.  Once people find out they will flock there by the dozen and the bucket fisherman will empty that pond in a week if they hear about it.  Congratulations on finding an awesome pond, but take Sam's advice and don't post pictures with a recognizable background, make sure to edit your post soon, and don't tell anyone about it, not even your friends as word will leak out one way or another if you do.

Those gems of places to fish are hard to come by.  I have a few that are mine and have only shared with a couple people and they are told that they are only to fish them with me......no bringing friends back later. And if I do post a pic on here, then there are no areas to reference to see where I'm fishing.  Keep your secrets secret and keep them closely guarded.  Congrats on your little gem, now keep it quiet, go fishing and stop sharing.....you have fish to catch.
