Big_Bass_Rich
If you mean one of these: Then I have one and it is worth it's weight in GOLD!! It opened up a whole new world of fishing on the smaller lakes, ponds and rivers around here and has no trouble moving with a little Minn Kota electric motor on the back (or front). Mine has a working livewell and running lights so it is legal for night fishing. All the electronics are built right into the hull and I've never had a problem with it. Nice & light and fits perfectly into the back of my F-150. Way, way better than a canoe or kayak. This thing is like a little bass boat. jtam963
rich where did you get yours at?? I know they have them at bas pro but wondering if anywhere cheaper or more selection?
Big_Bass_Rich
I got mine at a local boat dealer but they've been increasing in popularity. Most local marine dealers will have them or be able to order them for you at a reasonable cost. Mine cost me about $1000 (roughly $750-800 USD) in total a few years back. Definitely worth it. Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted February 9, 2005 Super User Share Posted February 9, 2005 I also have one one that is not quite as nice as Rich's (no livewell, but does have a removemable cooler that is rigged up to put an aerator(sp) in it if you wish). I think I apid around $600 for mine around 5 years ago and it has definitely been worth every penny.
Nick_Barr
I have fished in one before and they are awesome for any kind of small lake, especially if it has a 5 horde on the back.
squid
Yes they are awesome, cause now you can fish those small lakes that you used to just cast from shore, or wanted to find out how big that one that jumped out in the middle really is. Wish I had one for all the big ponds with no boat access.
Bassin101
Rich, I would buy a used one of these in a minute if I could find one in Arizona. It would be more comfortable than "my sons" kayak. Is your trolling motor a 12 or 24v? Is the boat foam filled like a basshunter? How long and weight? ;D
