  1. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=Topo+Maps Plenty of topo websites on that search. Also, Google has a neat Topo Map program. http://www.keyhole.com/
  2. Ouch! :-X My dad hooked himself in the ear while Fly Fishing...now he wears a fly as an ear ring . I've hooked myself in the lip, past the barb. I didnt feel a thing though. Dont ask me how, because I'm not telling.
  3. Linkage! http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catalog.TextId?hvarTextId=2909&hvarDept=100&hvarEvent=&hvarClassCode=5&hvarSubCode=3&hvarTarget=browse
  4. Hey Nick, I sent you an email on Tuesday, just wondering if you got it? If not I'll send another. Thanks.
  5. They have instructions on this website somewhere, and if you do a little looking around, there was a topic about turning a jon boat into a bass boat.
  6. You could cast out, and let it sit there awile, wait till they come back, then start working it. All of the other info on here is good though. If they're spawning, useing a lizard will be good! Wait till you see them take it and set the hook quick!
  7. The only way you would be able to do that as the log already is, is to save or copy it, then open up paint and do alot of those little text box things. Or, you could spend some time and make a similar chart on Word, then you just click and type in the info. I might try doing that later... Mike
  8. How? Anyway you like! Spinner baits are VERY versitile. The most basic way is to just cast them out near cover, and retrive. You can vary the way you retrive by jerking the bait, stopping it suddenly, speed it up, slow it down, etc. Be sure to look at more of the articles on the website too. Also, try casting it near a fallen tree, and bounce it off the branches while reeling it in. Mike
  9. I have caught the same bass twice, but not within that short of a time period. I have done that with a trout though.
  10. They have articles on this site about this kind of stuff. Also if you search on the forum there have been a few topics of the sort. No ski-boats though. :-/
  11. http://bassresource.com/state_fishing/washington_bass_fishing.html Go a little ways down and it has the listed Washington bass fishing club websites. If you cant find what your looking for there PM Glenn, and he should be able to hook you up!
  12. Nothing as bad as that, but I have had a guy come in on a boat and he was about 10 feet away from the dock I was fishing from and was casting right under it. I was afraid he was going to hit me.
  13. A worm binder would probably be your best bet.
  14. I'd make a website. Be sure to offer different weights, skirt colors, blade combo's, etc. And be sure to offer discounts to Bass Resource members
  15. It means to find what cover the fish are at, what depth, etc... Spinnerbaits work well for this because you can fish them almost anywhere, and they catch fish.
  16. The smaller the number the bigger the swivel. So 12 would be the smallest, and the 2/0 would be the biggest. 2/0 is way to big for anything except sea fishing(I would think). I'm going to say go with something like an 8 or 10, but dont take my word on that. Its just like hooks.
  17. Its because the northern end is more pretected from wind, or atleast thats what Ive heard.
  18. Thanks guys.
  19. Hey guys, Just wondering if any of you guys have had a "pet bass", and how you went about getting one. There was a topic awile back, and I thought it would be neat. Im thinking calling it a "scientific project" would be a good excuse to get one. Anyways, any info about getting some fry, and how to start and maintain a habitat for them would be apreciated. And how big do you guys think the fish tank would have to be? Thanks, Mike
  20. I was thinking the same thing the other day, and I havnt seen him in awile... ???
  21. Awesome! Now who won the guessing contest? Edit: Well, Glenn wins, but he didnt guess an exact date. Haha. ;D
  22. LOL! Yeah JT, share the stuff! As most people, I plan to fish jigs more. And do some more flipping and pitching.
  23. Alot...I havnt ever thought about it, but I fish almost everyday between May and end of October...once summer break hits, you'll never find me at home. I think thats about 180 days? I guess it also helps my grandparents live on a lake. Mike
  24. Soda's, sandwiches for lunch...other snacks also. Sunflower seeds are always good.
