Fatdaddy150 Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 How many days a year do you guys bass fish?? Quote
fishin_fool Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 You must be training for fishing season getting up this early ! I fish about 200 days a year probably would be more if not for winter Quote
Super User Sam Posted March 6, 2005 Super User Posted March 6, 2005 I fish about 50 days a year, depending on work schedule and the weather. Mostly fish in summer as I hate cold weather, and anything under 70 degrees is cold to me! Quote
squid Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 Well this year, with finally entering the BFL I will be fishing at least 32 tournaments, plus practice days, plus working and fishing the NBAA Classics in Kentucky, Tritonman and Myself should be on the water close to 75-100 times. Glad I am single, cause he is gonna hear about it from his wifey pooh....lol She thought we fished a lot last year, I think we were on the water only 25 times last year...good thing he is going deaf...lmao. Did everyone read what Sam wrote? Now this is the type of guys I go fishing with...lol...Tritonman, please take note...lol: Quote from Sam: I hate cold weather, and anything under 70 degrees is cold to me! Quote
coldsteel Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 i think im off to a good record! already 2 times! lol...thats pitiful i know... ;D Quote
Nick_Barr Posted March 7, 2005 Posted March 7, 2005 whenever i can but i will be fishing club tournaments, and will go fishing almost everyday after school. More than 100 i would say. Quote
Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted March 7, 2005 Super User Posted March 7, 2005 probably around 75. I would do go 365 times if it weren't for winter, school and soon to be work after college. Quote
abelfisher Posted March 7, 2005 Posted March 7, 2005 If you guys can fish that many times a year, I want your jobs!! ;D I'll be lucky to fish 30 times. Geez..... What am I doing wrong? ??? ??? :'( :'( :'( Quote
Wormy Posted March 7, 2005 Posted March 7, 2005 Probably 75 to 100 times a year. Weather being the most important factor. New boat for me this year so it may go up!!! Quote
Fisher of Men Posted March 7, 2005 Posted March 7, 2005 Probably 30-40 times. I agree with KU, I'd go every day if I didn't have responsibilities (like work, family, etc.) And then again, I try to keep it in check with the things that are more important to me (i.e. God, family, work) Quote
Mike H. Posted March 7, 2005 Posted March 7, 2005 Alot...I havnt ever thought about it, but I fish almost everyday between May and end of October...once summer break hits, you'll never find me at home. I think thats about 180 days? I guess it also helps my grandparents live on a lake. Mike Quote
Will Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 I am fortunate enough to currently live only 4 blocks from a lake. With the lake nearby I would say I fish somewhere around 275 days a year, even the cold winter can't hold me in. Quote
Snag Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 I probably fish 80 - 100 times a year easy but it's still not enough....lol Later, Snag Quote
Super User 5bass Posted March 8, 2005 Super User Posted March 8, 2005 With all the different types of fishing around here...lake,stream,ponds,rivers etc...I probably fish 150 days a year or more. Life is good!Especially when the water hits a constant 50 degrees. Quote
