Tatula vs Tatula XT

Featured Replies

Anyone own both of these or even had a chance to handle both of these rods? Just curious if the XT is in the same class as the regular Tatula. Thanks.

I just ordered the regular Tatula. I've done some research on the higher end Tatula models. Not much difference between them. One may have a few more Ball Bearings. The other is a few more Ozs lighter. I just don't see a huge difference between them.

Oh okay. I heard the Tatula is a great rod. Not to sure between the 2 Rods.

I believe they are selling the Tatula on Amazon for around $100-$125. For about the same price, I say just get the regular Tatula

The XT is built on a different blank material, same as the old Lexa rods, I believe.  I imagine the actions are similar between the two lines.   On paper, the Tatula rods should be more sensitive than the XT.  Also, the reel seats are quite different between the two.

I have a Tatula rod that I like very much.  At the price they can be had for, it's a no brainer to me.

I sometimes wonder how Daiwa isn't losing money making them
