Quick electrical question.. I have a battery without a charger bank on it (starting) which also has my livewell pumps and would like to hook up an onboard to it. Instead of running wires all over my boat it would be way simpler to buy a 1 bank charger for it. If needed, on a trip, would I be safe to run both chargers at once on a 12/3 triple output extension cord? 

I have a single bank and a 3 bank connected under the deck to an outdoor cord with 3 receptacles. Been working fine for 2 years

Yes this is what I did in my boat.  I upgraded to a 36V trolling motor and put my 3 bank charger on those and then upgraded my starting battery to an AGM 31.  I then added a single bank NOCO charger and spliced the AC supply cords of both chargers together.  That way in the garage or on the road at the motel just one high quality extension cord charges all 4 batteries.

 

There's no reason it shouldn't work. 2 chargers pulling x number of amps per bank for 3 banks total doesn't pull any more power than 1 charger pulling the same number of amps per bank for 3 banks
