Hey guys it's my first post was gonna ask a quick question. I noticed the Quantum's on sale at cabelas last night and they caught my eye I'm a huge kvd fan but never had any Quantum's and would like to try one if I get some good feedback. I have always been a shimano guy and don't won't to be disappointed.

Probably the worst reels are those that come with the signature of a celebrity stamped on the side plate.

From Shimano to Quantum -----> from riches to rags in one step.

BTW, I don´t only own Shimanos, so I´m hardly a fanboy.

I've had a signature Quantum reel...actually
still own it, but it sits unused.

I did catch fish with it as it was my first true
bait casting setup. But it took a seat on the
shelf for Shimano reels...FWIW.
