Been using Big Game a really long time,Never had a problem.Also like Berkley XT.

    I use mono mainly for my trout stuff now and I'll use Stren or Trilene XT.  I've heard people say good old fashoined Ande's mono works just as good as any other mono out there, I just don't use mono often enough to buy a big spool of Ande's.  I use mono for braid backing but it's a big 300 yard spool of cheap Diawa stuff I won in a raffle.
