Anyone have any input on the Sustain? Is it worth the $300ish price mark or should I just stick to a Ci4+ or Stradik FK?

I don't have any experience with the newest Sustains but the older models I have are built like tanks & still going strong.

I might take a look at that, although I prefer 1000's for dropshotting because of how compact they are, saving d**n near $100 after tax is nice too.

 

Anyone know if they're carbon disk drag?

id get the ci4 I own 2 and love them both my friend has a sustain and we cant tell the difference besides the ci4 being lighter...

I have the Sustain you're yaking about, in the 2500 size. It's the best spinning reel I've ever used. It's my go-to for finesse applications and is built like a tank. You'd be happy with it I'm certain

Hopefully, I just pulled the trigger on one last night on fleabay for $249.99.
