Hey guys, this is a question to anyone that owns or has owned an ugly stik lite pro 5 foot ultra light. Does anyone know the lure rating, i have one but it doesn't say it on the rod and i cant find it anywhere online. I'm pretty curious, thanks 

It must say on it what the action is. If it's a medium action, light action, etc.. And it also depends on what you plan on using it for. Most rods are pretty forgiving with lure weights unless you get crazy.

If its whippy its UL if it aint its a light .uglystiks are kinda off sometimes

I think Lite has been replaced with Elite. But it doesn't matter. This will be the general rating of all UL rods.

There's no industry standard for Rod powers or other specs. Trial and error will always be the best.
