Rod for pflueger trion TRI35

Featured Replies

I'm looking to get a new ultralite to medium light spinning rod for my pflueger trion. It's size 35. I want something 5'6" to 6'2" that is pretty stiff. Any suggestions?

A 35 size will overwhelm  a short rod like that i use 30 size on 6'6" rod med action and its almost to small.a 35 size is 9 or 10 oz and not light or ultralight size at all

I am also in the same dilemma. For the time being I threw my TRI35 on a 6' Rhino Ultra Light rod that I found discounted for $20. The rod is okay actually but the tip of the rod has a built in glow stick which is kind of corny. I'm going to look for a Pflueger rod if possible on ebay as I know they make Trion rods. Hopefully they have some six footers out there. I use this pole for crappie only. I have thought about getting a 6'6" rod for it so I can throw light bass lures such as a jitterbug.
