Top water t-rig

Featured Replies

Fishing at a pond today, I threw a t-rigged trick worm really close to the bank and something ate it like a top water, it came out of the water. Were these bass? I missed them both times. Thanks

Most likely. I've thrown senkos on a mat or on lily pads and have had bass crush them like a frog.

Depending on your location, it could have been bedding bass or bream that were protecting the nest.

When guys down here are throwing frogs I'll speed reel a t-rig on top!

Deadly ;)

Ditto

Next time try throwing it onto the bank and just drag it into the water.

Probably. But you can cast right back to the spot and just let it sink.
