Shimano Curado 301 6.2.1 speed boost?

So I was wondering if it was possible to upgrade the Curado 301 6.2.1 speed to the 6.9.1 of the right hand models. Has anyone tried this? Is it possible?

    Unlike other Curados the 300 was only manufactured in 6.2:1 so there is no way you can swap the gears with gears from another model.

    The gears from the 300EJ will fit to increase the speed of the 300E from 6.2:1 to 6.9:1 .  The same is not available for the 301E.
