What lures to bring when fishing? 2, 3, 4, the whole arsenal?

Featured Replies

I've had a tough time lately hooking up at my local pond, usually it's very productive..until these past 2 weeks. I was reading the forums in what lures other anglers use on their ponds and what produces for everyone. I read one post that said the more lures that you take results in not catching anything because you're too busy switching lures. And this is true, lately I was changing lures rapidly trying to find the sure thing, thinking the bass weren't biting. Today I went out with one pack of Owner shaky type hooks and a pack of GP baby brush hogs. It took awhile...but after covering the bank I started to connect. This was because I was paying more attention on how to swim, flip, pitch, and jig this plastic...instead of trying to find something else. (Thinking the bass just didn't like that lure) I just wanna say thanks to the guys that gave me a different insight on my problem and helped me hook up today, really felt great after the long slump!!

Always great when slumps are broken.
