Bass Tracker??

Featured Replies

ive been looking for some boats on the internet and i found a bass tracker for like 9,500, its an alluminum shell but comes with pretty much everythingi you need, motor, troling motor, fish finder, trailer, all that good stuff.  Just wondering some oppinions on the boat? anyone have one?

RM_Bassman - I searched extensively this past winter for an aluminum bass boat.  I'll admit the trackers have come a long way in the last 3-5 years (mostly hull construction) but i still think they fall short in overall fit and finish.  In my experience, I found the best quality/price in the products made by G3 and Xpress.  I don't think you'd be dissappointed with the tracker but it definately pays to shop around.

hey kegman, when you were looking for a boat in the winter, did you notice if the boats were any cheaper due to the season or were the prices pretty much the same year round. i am in the market and was just wondering if maybe it would pay off to wait a couple of months and save up some more money.

I have fished in a brand new bass tracker 185 and it is a really good boat for the money.

I haven't fished out of a tracker for about 15 years, but I agree with kegman1, they have come a long ways in the last 5 yrs.  I buddy of mine bought a 185 2 years ago and he  likes.

Anyone know anything about the Tracker Tournament V-18???   I looked at one of them at BPS in Cincinnati, OH, it has alot of deck room and is rated for a 150.   Looking to buy a boat in the near future and it seems like a good layout.    :-/

I bought a 2001 Tracker Pro Team 185 with a 90 Merc last year for $9,500 and I couldn't be happier. It also had all of the goodies. I have been told by plenty of people who have been boat owners that I got a good deal.
