Headed to lake berryessa for a few days next week.. I've never fished the lake before so any info on it would be greatly appreciated such as hot baits, fish depth and mode of this time of year ect   Thanks!!

Berryessay fishes a lot like Clear lake except it's a man made reservoir vs a natural lake. Both lakes have large oval shape main lake basin with the south end being deeper with more vertical rocky shoreline. The oval basin takes a long time to find isolated off shore structure elements and don't wait for anyone to pin point those out to you!

The south end is like most California lakes and suggest starting there and fish points.
