I was at Cabelas and saw some of this line. I was just curious if any of you use it and for what purpose? I would think it would be good if you were trying to get a deep diver down even deeper, given how heavy the line is. 

It's generally used when trolling deep water.

Not really something that one can cast.

Good to know, was just thinking out loud with this post. I felt it and it did seem rather unmanageable for casting.
