Inside of rod tip broke

Featured Replies

The tip of my blackmaxx lost the insert. Now when I cast and reel the line runs against it and it doesn't cast very well. Kind of over the blackmaxx rods they r trash and this is my second one the first one I owned did the same thing.

Just got to a local tackle shop and have them replace the tip.  Usually just takes a lighter to loosen up the tip to slip it off, then they just glue on a new one.  They should have a box of rod tips handy.

Have them repaired,  it should cost less than $20 buck

The EXACT same thing happened to my favorite rod.  I got it replaced for 4 bucks at my tackle shop. Took em five minutes.

Youtube a video up, go to the Mart of Walls and get a replacement kit and lighter if you don't have one, fix tip for a couple bucks. It's so simple, even I can do it.

This can happen to any rod. I had it happen to one of my fairly new croix legend tournaments not to long ago.I dropped mine off at a local shop and was back in business later  that day for less than 10 dollars.
