OK rods but a little heavy. But that's a trade off for the price. Make sure to check the eye alignment before you buy. I like to check eBay & used tackle dealers for the original All Star WR1 & WR2 made in Houston. Great rods that I have found for around $50.00.

Thanks. Do you know anywhere to get the old ones?

Which one?

All Star Pro Series PH826C 6' 10" Medium Heavy Fast

I use this one to throw spinnerbaits & lipless cranks, it has longer handle which let's you get longer cast.

All Star ASCC846CR 7' 0" Medium Heavy Fast

I use it for light flipping

All Star ASTC786WRM 6' 6" Medium Heavy Fast

My grandson uses it for Texas Rigs

I check eBay weekly. Also there are a couple of tackle shops in the Dallas area that sell used gear. I check with them also.

Sorry, 7 medium heavy all star classic

I've field tested products from various tackle manufacturers for 20 plus years & All Star is one.

In the price point range of $50-75 All Star is arguably #1

This 7' rod is factory designated "Caroline Rig", when I first pitched it up I thought flipping & pitching.

The tip is a little on the stiff side which fits weights of 7/16-1 oz.

It does not have enough backbone for punching but for moderate grass, laydowns, vertical timber it work fine.

Sensitivity, is very good for a $35

I have a H2O Maxim 7.0:1 reel on it & it's spooled with 20# Seaguar Red Label.
