So i just got this and its totally awesome. I have one concern though.

Spinning the handle i dont hear a sound, but when i retrieving from the water i hear like a scratching. 

 

Im thinking i got a defective one or its just normal?

It's not unusual for a little more sound to come from a reel under load. Whether or not your sound is normal is really hard to say without seeing it. If it feels ok it should be safe to fish. You can always send it in over the winter for a check up. 

If you are unsure, ask someone who is an experienced angler to fish it and see what they think. They will probably be able to tell if something isn't right.

This make sense! But anyway, i opened it and to my surprise lots of oil and grease inside. Also i wiped the spool shaft with alcohol since no oil should in there
