Can I use these for bass?

Featured Replies

I am new to bass fishing and so my bass lure collection is small at the moment. I have a few crank baits, and a few jigs. I have tons of ZOOM worms because I always sneak over to the fishing section at wally world and sneak a bag or 2 into the cart when the wife is not looking:P. But I have a lot of saltwater inshore stuff for snook and reds. I just want to know if I can use these for bass and if it is even worth it. The large green lure is a BOMBER and I have caught lots of snook on it but it is huge! I also have the 2 ZARA spooks. Those 3 in the top right are YOZURIS and they cost 15.00 bucks a pop but they are amazing for Snook. It would be great if I could use some of this stuff in freshwater. If anyone has done this and has had success it would be great to hear about. They just sit in my shed so if I can use them then that would really expand my arsenal. Thanks.

Bass will eat anything that will fit into it's mouth so those should all work just fine!

Absolutely. You could rig up a golf ball and catch bass!

Haha. I was just concerned about the size of some of them. Thanks for the input and these will now go into the arsenal.

Jonathan, where ya think those Spooks came from?

Bass fishing!

I grew up on the Louisiana/Texas gulf coast, what catches bass catches snook, specks, & reds; what catches snook, specks, & reds catches bass.

I've a friend who only throws D.O.A. shrimp for bass no matter where he's fishing!

not sure the pink lighter will catch bass, just not enough hooks on it.
