Researching the Shimano Stradic C14's and felt a few of the larger models in the store. They are the best feeling reels I have seen. But the larger sizes of them and the high line retrieve is not what I'm looking for. I would like something with a lower line retrieve but as high end as the Stradic. Any suggestions? I've heard good things about the Pflueger Surpeme XT. 

I have both the Stradic CI4 and the Supreme XT. If I had it to do over again, I'd buy 2 Supreme XT's and save myself some money.

I like my Supreme and Supreme XT equally. I think the Patriarch is quite the step up for not a lot extra. 

go with the Pflueger, they make excellent spinning reels...
