First fishfinder...Help?

Featured Replies

My new Lowrance elite 4 CHIRP fishfinder has two "arms" from the power cord...one goes to the battery. first question...what to do with the yellow wire?

Second question...what is the other cord for? It has five individual wires including what looks like a ground???

This unit will be mounted on my kayak if that makes a difference.

Thanks in advance.

I know it goes against guy code. ...

But reading manuals that come in the boxes are very handy.

Try moving your topic to the reflector ice forum.  I'm sure one of the members that frequents it can give you the answer.
