Bearing Troubles

Featured Replies

So i recently decided to clean my reels and degrease my bearings. After i was done  i go to set up my reel and my spool spins way too fast now. I have to turn my bakes and cast control as tight as they will go make a cast now. Not sure if i used too much oil or what the issue is. Any feedback is much appreciated thanks. The reel is a lews speed spool if that helps any.

Lol what's the problem? I have spent countless hours super tuning my reels to do that! Be happy lol

Check the spacer under your cast control knob. If it's dimpled, turn it over. It sounds like you either lost it, or it's really worn down.
