Double Plopper

Featured Replies

Anyone had a chance to try out the Double Plopper Buzz type bait yet?

Ive got one but I have not fished it a lot. So only downside I have noticed is I have to run it slowly. If I give it any speed it lifts up on one side and one plopper is out of the water. When it is coming through the water the right way though it looks and sounds great

Hoping to get out tomorrow morning a give it a try. Not suppose to be much wind so maybe it will run good.

I can't fit one of those things in my tackle box so I didn't buy one:rolleyes:

I'm sure someone is in their lab hard at work on a new tackle box for these monstrosities.

That's exactly what I thought when I saw it -- "where am I going to put a thing like that?"

Yeah that double plopper is one of those things where you tie it onto a rod and you leave it there and stay committed to fishing it, like an A-Rig.

I'll be buying one Thursday at Cabela's if they have them in stock, and another 90 size regular plopper. As far as storage, why not just put it back in the box it came in? Then just throw that in a side pocket of your tackle bag.
