So I have been expeimenting with JJ's chartreuse and like how it produces. My question is about the other colors. What color or colors does everyone use? Also what does the clear do? And finally what color does pink or orange turn a grn pumpkin or junebug soft plastic to?I know that is a lot of questions but I'm hoping it will improve my catching percentage.

I love JJ's. The clear just adds the garlic scent without changing the color of the bait. I use chartreuse on green pumpkin worm with a chartreuse tail and I swear that tail glows in the dark. I call it "the glow worm". I cannot answer the other questions. 

I use the chartreuse and orange quite a bit. I like the orange for coloring the tips of crayfish imitating stuff on lures I can't buy in that color. I do this anytime I use craw baits because all the crawl in my area are greens and browns with orange highlights. I've gotten more bites by doing it, especially in clear water. I use the chartreuse if I'm specifically going after smallies or spots, or when the water has a little color to it.

I've only used the clear so far. Adds a very strong garlic smell to the baits. I use a spike it pen for colors my baits. 

How long does it take JJ's to dry, and how long does the color last?  I only bank or kayak fish and I have heard too many JJ's horror stories to want to lug a bottle around in those circumstances.

Not long. Dip them the night before & seal back up in the bag. No bottle to carry. You can also use a Q-Tip to to do Chartreuse stripes & bellies on Flukes & swimbaits.

I use the chartreuse and the clear. I keep mine in a small plastic bin that has an airtight seal and stuff paper towels in it to keep them upright. The paper towels are also good to lay the plastic on after dipping to give them a few seconds to dry without risking getting dye on anything else. Since I've started storing them like that I've had no spills or drips.

From my experience 15-20 seconds and it's either dry to the touch or so close by the time it touches water it will be. It's fast but I'm usually in warm weather. Never used it in the cold that I remember.

As for lasting it actually penetrates the plastic. I have never had any worm, craw or soft plastic outlast the dye. 

I actually have used JJs for several years. And it has been a good product. But just last weekend I used mine and had it on the tailgate in the shade. I didn't notice while fishing the sun had changed direction and was directly on it. Next time I see my chartreuse it's 1/2 in the Ziploc baggie out of the bottle. I know I put the lid on but apparently it couldn't hold the pressure.

So many times I almost tossed the baggie as the bottle is glass and the lid seems sturdy. Boy am I glad I didnt. ALWAYS keep JJs in some extra protection.
