E6X 843 vs GLX

I got a friend of mine into baitcasting and he is now looking for an all-around rod. He loves the taper and power of my GLX 843 for spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, lipless cranks etc.

Those that have fished both rods - Do they have similar power/action/tip stiffness? I know the GLX is probably lighter and more sensitive.

    Get what you can afford. If he can afford the GLX he sure as heck won't regret getting it over an E6X. If he can't afford it, stick with the E6X and he'll be happy with it, as it is a great rod.
