You will do well with worms, few topwater lures, and make sure to get a floating Rapala Minnow or Rebel minnow which imo is the easiest and one of the best lures to fish since people seem to forget about simple Minnow baits..Rapala F-9 on 8lb test Berlkley XL Mono is how I would go...I would watch some videos on how to fish a weightless senko, then learn to fish a fluke, and some type of weedless soft bait you can buzz on top to cover water like a paddle tail swimbait...Havoc Grass Pig is a good start. Zoom baits are great, hard to beat a trick worm in a purple or green pumpkin color...

Actually Zoom Trick worm and Ultra vibe speed worm and a U-Tail Ribbon Tail is a good start and you can do everything with those 3 worms. One will always work some of the time Good Luck.

Tons of good articles on the main page, also google any question and just click videos and you will see people demo the technique which helps big time.

Good Luck.

I'll take the Senko

The Senko's got a certain shimmy to it that the others don't. Wonder if that's what makes it so deadly.
