Thinking of trying my luck there. Does the lake have water and what are some key areas for top water fishing. Im not asking for secret spots just areas with structure like grass exc.  I never been and I just got my boat locked in for Pyrmid last week  and Castaic. Any info will help 

Castaic has been receiving water from the Pyrimd for several months and that stopped about 2 weeks ago. The lake is up nearly over 50' since May. There isn't any aquatic weed growth, lots of flooded shore brush. There is a low light top water bite until 8A, followed by Shad colored crank or lipless bite. The deeper soft plastic bite is about 15' to 25' on Shad colors or oxblood red flake around the points.

The ski arm has been better than the fish arm and that is changing.

We'll I went Saturday weather was nice. Just fyi to anyone going they don't except debit cards. Had to drive all the way back in town to pull cash out. I managed two little bass the whole morning  on a square bill crawfish. I tried everything.
