how has lake cachama been lately? thinking of heading over there soon. Do you think renting a boat to get out on the other side of the lake is worth it? thank you!

Drove by the lake a week ago and it's up about 50% pool and is a good sprint spinnerbait lake, give it try.

I have been up there a few times this year its been fairly slow compared to years in the past but i have caught a few smallmouths on swim baits and decent large mouth on some jigs. I would definitely rent a boat if you can way better then fishing the areas your restricted to on foot.
