I just purchased a 10ct bag of Gambler 4" Baby Bacon Rind baits.

I have never fished a creature bait before. How do I fish this bait? Is it better in shallow or deep water? Can anyone give tips or tactics on this bait?

anytime i'm using soft plastics i try to fish them weightless, including creature baits. creature baits have always worked best for me flippin shllow cover just like i would a jig.

i've never tried the type you bought, but some of the ones i have great luck with are baby brush hogs & GYCB Kreatures.

I have the same ones in every color and size they make.

I fish them on t-rig mostly.

I also put jig heads i them and skip them under docks.

c-rig also works well

I usually fish Creature baits with a flipping stick, braid, Gamakatsu superline hook, and a 1oz tungsten bullet weight.

I too usually use them as a flippin' bait, but they can be used in many ways.I've fished them like a T-rigged worm,C-rigged,weightless,and on a dropshot.
