Just randomly picked up two Shimano Nexave FD reels from Dick's online for $29 plus free shipping.  Got a 1000 and a 2500.  Any word on these reels?  They come with a spare aluminum spool and seem to be nice.  Retail is $59 but got both for basically the same so I thought I would ask.  Thanks!

Have you received it yet, or did you just now order it?  I'm stunned by the spare spool...

Haven't received it yet but I was shocked about the spool too...that's part of the reason I got it.  For $29 a piece, they are worth a try.  If they are good then great, but if not, I can just walk in and return them.

These just went up for sale on TW 25 days of Christmas but only marked down to $45, while it looks like Dick's still has them in stock online.

They're Shimano Sonora's with a different paint job.   Great reels

I picked 3 up at my local academy for $20 each but mine didn't come with an extra spool. I've used it one time and seems like a great reel especially at that price
