Anyone got both reels can you take picture side by side, please? It is okay if compare to 50e as well. I went to local today, but they dont have CT in stock just regular tatula.

 

Another question how the reel palm compare to Shimano?

in terms of size 50<70<CT 

 

  I've got a 50 and a CT. The 50 is noticeably smaller than a CT but the 50 is pretty small. I polished a few internal spots on my CT and added 4 bearings/different knobs to the handle and a bearing to the level wind. It's ridiculously smooth.

Yup the ct is a tad longer and wider than 50. Any chance to get a shot on palm side.

Why does it matter are you thinking of getting a new reel. I can say from experience the Tatula CT is a great reel. I own 1 Exceler, 4 Tatula Type Rs and 3 tatula CTs. They are so good I got rid of my Lews and Shimano Chronarchs.

I am thinking of another curado 70xg or tatula ct.

Ill be using this reel for dock skipping. 

I think that mag brake on tatula might be good for this application.

 

 

 

Once you get a CT you will want more of them.

I dont know about that. I like the smaller size of shimano 50e and 70. I used to have 100d and ct 50. It shows I prefer smaller size reel. The only reel I have beside shimano is helios which is about 100 size reel as well.

if i were you i'd get a curado 70 ( strange for me to even type this as i detest shimano ) , the tatula's feel very boxy and don't palm well in my opinion ( out of curiousity , i held all of the models at a bass show last month ) i really don't like the square front to them , they are like a rectangle , no taper the front .

- the 70 feels a lot better in hand .

Big Bait Fishing when you say you held every model at a bass show last month did you put a Tatula CT on a rod and actually try to palm it?  I kinda doubt it.  Either that or you have TINY hands.
