I recognize that torquing an average fish's jaw isn't detrimental, but I have to say it's still a bad idea because it sets a bad example and it's a bad habit. Glenn said it's like saying one cigarette causes cancer - good point, it doesn't, but one cigarette is a bad idea because it can only go downhill from there.

 

My goal as a graphic design student is to work in the fishing industry one day. Eventually I'll be behind a camera shooting fishermen - I'll make it my goal not to publish pictures of people holding fish in a potentially harmful way so that uneducated viewers don't have a bad example set for them
