Those that have it,do you have any issue with 30# braid on it or do you go with 40#?

Haven't used the 70 past some back yard pitching, but have had several different 50 size Shimanos. 30# is my go to size. Pretty sure I have 20# on my Ch50mg and never had issues with that.

Any of you know if this is better than the curado i series?

I had 20lb super slick 8 on my 70 and switched to 30 because the line was digging in, since switching I haven't had any problems.

I dont use braid on 70 but had it on curado 100d. For me 30lbs braid is good enough, enough strength to pull fish out from cover, cast good and no line digging. I dont fish a lot of heavy cover so I dont see the need of bigger braid.
