I have a few days to put in my loomis order and this is what I am thinking

GLX MH/F for Jigs and creature bait

E6x M/MF for shallow to medium deep cranks

I would like to get 1 more for swims, large top water, and chatterbait....

Any help is appreciated

Got 3 CI4's for all

Thanks, and sorry for being a PICADORES,

Al

Maybe consider getting the Fury 705cb for shallow and medium cranks and get the E6x and up it to a MH/MF for the swims and chatters. Just my $.02.

What's your budget?

How did you swing that deal? It's settled then 1 NRX of every type ;)

I would go with medium crank bait series rod.  A.L. told me the fiber blend is equal to there original crank bait rods. I like that 40%. that really helps.

GLX 854  (your MH/F)  AMAZING jig/t-rig rod

the EX6 you mentioned

AND whatever your budget can support model-wise, but an "843" is a good rod all around blank from Loomis.

Are you okay with fast action for swimbaits and top water trebles?

I would prefer MF for action for trebles, and point well taken

Well then I would just throw the GLX on chatterbait duty and go with a MH/MF for the swimbaits. The lure rating is going to be important if you plan on throwing 1-3oz swimbaits.

Nrx 873 crr is a shining star. I have many high end rigs but this rod is just pure joy in the hands. Even though it's a c rig rod. It's my favorite t rig rod. And jig rod. And c rig rod. Sorry didn't really answer the question in regards to chatterbaits and swimbaits. But for that. An e6x, or imx 844 mbr would be a good place to start

Was actually thinking of getting a

IMX 904c subject to fill the swim baits needs and possibly top waters...

Thoughts?

What sort of swimbaits?

Save your money and get the E6x. Swimbaits don't need to be thrown on a sensitive rod. You'll know when you have a bite.
