Bass Lakes in NC

I just moved to NC from FL, and would like to know of some good bass lakes in the Henderson area??? and do I need to winterize my boat? Thanks for the for the advice...

I live in the Western part of the state but looking at a map you're somewhat(It's all relative) close to Falls Lake, Jordan Lake, Lake Gaston, and several small bodies of water. The Raleigh folks on the board can give you many more details.

Welcome to NC my friend... You are right smack dab in the middle of two of NC's many reservoirs with one more less than an hour south of you.. Kerr is in your backyard, Gaston is east of you and right down US HWY 1 is Falls Lake. Oddly they are totally different from one another even though they are that close together...
