  2. It took me awhile to get this pic edited to fit but finally did it plus the pole
  3. Ok @Bird your right I was just tired. She got me a new net, new scale and a new Rod
  4. While Bassresource was down my wife took be to bps for my birthday and here is what she got me.can’t seem to add the photo
  5. My 2 cents is the “San Diego Jam” knot. I just learned about it and I love it. I am now using it regardless on the line.
  6. Do you hook up your swim bait before you go out on the water or you hook up your swim bait after you’re already on the boat? I notice that A-jay pre hook his swim baits and just never thought of doing that. Anyway, thank you for your input. Have a blessed day.
  7. @A-Jay what size hook do you like with them???
  8. What do ya’ll think about Strike Kind Shadalicious 5.5 swim baits???
  9. This is a good topic because I broke my net. 🥴Anyway I’m in the market for a new one so good topic and good timing.
  10. Truck monkey is starting to call my name 🥴
  11. So yesterday I went fishing and was using the swim jig, which I use the Gerald, Swindell knot on and after the 4th or 5th cast, it flew off my line. I must have tied it wrong🥴. Anyone else had trouble with it that knot???
  12. That’s funny @MN Fisher but I haven’t seen the “Boat Monkey”
  13. If I bought stuff for my trailer, does that count for the “bait monkey”?
  14. I used the ratchet straps for the first time today and absolutely love them. I highly suggest anybody who is thinking about the upgrade from straps to ratchet straps do it you’ll love it.
  15. Simple question here. When you are putting on line, what contraption if any do you use to help this process?
  16. Good one A-Jay
  17. @gim just like @casts_by_fly said to put them. It took all of 5 minutes to do the job. So simple to do even a cave man can do it😂
  18. Thank you for all the advice. I went ahead and ordered the 2000lb one which was on sale. I just couldn’t resist, it was like $30ish cheaper. Again thanks for all the advice
  19. @GreenPig thank you and at one time I did use Shimano. But I quickly changed to Lews 😂😂
  20. Today I bought BoatBuckle™ Mini G3 Retractable Ratcheting Tie-Downs for the trailer. Took about 5 minutes to do, I need to change out the old straps that were wearing out. No way I was going to use those on my trip to Tennessee. I’ve been wanting to get them for a while now, so this was a good time to do it. Just wanted to share. Have a blessed one
  21. I still just let the wind push me around, sometimes I’ll even bring out the drift suck if it gets to windy.
  22. @Scott F the winch that is on the trailer now is all rusted and beat up. Handle is all bent along with one of the bolts. I was on T-H marine and came across the 2000 lb one. And that’s why I was asking the question. Amazon has some 1500lbs on there so I thought I’d get some bassresources opinion. I always like to get some good advice from follow bass fishermen. Thanks again
  23. I need a new winch and strap. My question is this, my research say that all I need is one that handles 1500lb. Ok I was looking at those and found some that are rated 2000lbs. I have a 2017 bass pro 175 tracker which weighs around 1200lbs to 1300ish lbs, at least in that range. Do you think that the 2000lb one would be overkill??? Anyway thanks for your help and have a good one
  24. @A-Jay that was a good one😂 My wife is from that area and I went to high school in Apopka. I sure do miss fishing them Florida lakes. Good luck @Ski and @FloridaFishinFool great report
