I was literally about to post about using the Uni when I saw this post. I fished the Uni today for about 3 1/2 hrs. Boy was it Hot, I think I had 3 nibbles. I did catch the elusive stick fish on it. I guess I’ll just keep trying using it.

Question, does anyone else get ants on their boat covers? And if you do, what do you do to get rid of them?

I have 3 medium powered rods that are 7’ tall. One I have designated as my worm rod. Any advice on what I should designate my other two rods to be? I was thinking of making one a fluke rod, and the other one a chatter bait rod. What do y’all think about that? I still have five medium heavy rods and one heavy rod that I use for other rigs. Again, any comments are appreciated. Have a blessed evening.

Do you hook up your swim bait before you go out on the water or you hook up your swim bait after you’re already on the boat? I notice that A-jay pre hook his swim baits and just never thought of doing that. Anyway, thank you for your input. Have a blessed day.

So yesterday I went fishing and was using the swim jig, which I use the Gerald, Swindell knot on and after the 4th or 5th cast, it flew off my line. I must have tied it wrong🥴. Anyone else had trouble with it that knot???

I used the ratchet straps for the first time today and absolutely love them. I highly suggest anybody who is thinking about the upgrade from straps to ratchet straps do it you’ll love it.

Simple question here. When you are putting on line, what contraption if any do you use to help this process?

Thank you for all the advice. I went ahead and ordered the 2000lb one which was on sale. I just couldn’t resist, it was like $30ish cheaper. Again thanks for all the advice

Today I bought BoatBuckle™ Mini G3 Retractable Ratcheting Tie-Downs for the trailer. Took about 5 minutes to do, I need to change out the old straps that were wearing out. No way I was going to use those on my trip to Tennessee. I’ve been wanting to get them for a while now, so this was a good time to do it. Just wanted to share. Have a blessed one
