Just order my St. Croix from you guys and saved a butt load, even beat out Amazon and TWH, Thanks a lot for the heads up.

I have two 18 yr old Falcon rods which I love and have no problem with, they are both 7 foot long MH. I have decided to go with St. Croix Mojo Bass Series Casting Rod for my new rods and have gotten a 7'0" M action and with my great desire to own a boat soon I decided that I need a flipping rod. I was wondering what length to get, should it be a 7'4" or 7'9" or 7'11"? Thanks for your advice and have a great Thankgiving.

I know this is a late post but Lake Trafford sucks, don't even waste your time. I have caught many of bass in golf courses lakes and big ones too, many 5lb bass in golf course lakes, The biggest I one I caught was at the Marriotts course going to Marco Island. Snook fishing is a blast too if you do that too. By the way I lived in Naples 49 years before moving up to Live Oak 3 years ago, Anyway have a good one

In all my years of fishing golf course lakes, I can say I never had a problem with gators coming to eat me. I see them in the water and even have caught a few but they just flew off the hook after a few minutes. If they were big ones (10 foot or bigger) I would leave and go somewhere else to fish. But like so many that have posted on here its all about respect and for the most part they will leave you alone if you leave them alone. Hopes this helps and happy fishing in Florida

Would it be best to get a aluminum bass boat for a first time boat, Way and Pour???

I have posted on here about a bass boat that I was going to look at which I still haven't looked at. (A co-worker has a 2001 Triton 17' foot with a 2002 115 murcury 2 stroke that I want to look at) But I have been looking online for other boats, that being said, my question is....How old is to old of a boat to be a 1st time boat??? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated from all experience bass boat owners

I am looking to upgrade my rods and reels they are 17 years old, I love my old shimano reels and plan to buy more, but was wondering about the gear ratios. Does it really matter what the ratio is??? I'm looking at a Curado with 7.2.1 or a 6.3.1. also Which one is better???

I'm going to be looking at a 2001 Triton with a 2002 Murcury 115hp 2 stroke. This will be my first bass boat any thought on this boat?
