Sensitive 2 piece casting rods

Featured Replies

I have a truck without a bedcover and I always have family with me. I'm looking for opinions on a 2 piece St

Croix Premier Series 6'6 MH Fast.

Any use it or can recommend me a great sensitive 2 piece to pair with my Shimano Citica.

I own a two piece triumph (7' MF), and it is just as sensitive as the one piece model.  It used to be that a two piece rod was much less sensitive, but the technology has advanced to where they feel exactly the same.  It's a great travel rod, (I have a rod with me at all times) and is extremely durable.  That thing has been dropped on riprap countless times, stepped on, closed in the garage door, and was once dropped on a riprap covered dam and tumbled down fifteen feet on the rocks.  And I haven't even had to replace the tip.

I have the Premier 6'6" MHF 2-pc spinning rod, and think the sensitivity on it is fine.  The 2-pc rods made today are great quality and you don't lose any noticeable feel.

Check Fenwick offerings. Their 2 piece rods are great.
