I'm getting ready to place an online order - wondering what size Owner Twistlock LIGHT weighted hook 3/32oz for 5 inch Senkos?  Can't remember what I ordered last time but It think 4/0?   Thx,  -Fry

I don't use the weighted ones, but I use the 3/0 owner twistlock for both 5" senkos and 5" flukes; I believe that's the size Gary Yamamoto recommends too. I'm sure 4/0 would be fine too.

I use the 3/0 unweighted ones for senkos and flukes as well.  

 

I do kinda wish they sold a 3.5/0 ones for the flunked though. 

I like a 4/0 and can use the same for unweighted paddletails. Gary recommends the 3/0, as he believes it gives the senko the best fall rate. 

I had success on the 3/32oz 4/0 twistlock light last summer while using 5" senkos.  The bait still had the tantalizing shimmy on the fall and the bass seemed to enjoy it.

^^This ^^ !! ... I did a interweb search and Gary himself recommends the Owner weighted / un weighted 3/0 for 4" Senkos and the 4/0 for 5" Senkos. *I also believe the 5/0 size would work on a 5" Senko as well giving it a slightly faster fall rate with the weight more centrally located underneath (ditto for the 4/0 size and the 4" Senko) .

I use the 4/0 version for 5" Senkos. It's the best hook on the market for Senkos and soft jerkbaits fished around light-to-moderate cover.
