So every baitcaster I used has been a magnetic break, so I turn the knob and I'm done. I recently bought a new reel but it's a centrifugal breaking system. On my magnetics I always had it turned half way or in the middle. I have the revo s by abu Garcia, how do I get it like I did on my magnetic?

read your owner's manual on how to open the side plate. if you like the brakes at 1/2 setting, then do the same thing here, push half of the pins in, half out.

Did you look at the sheet that came with the reel?  It will show you how to set the brakes.  The side cover has to either come off or swing out of the way so you can get at the brakes.  Here is a video on the previous model.  Cover came off so I assume it will be the same on your new reel.

 

 

Ok thanks guys, I know how to open it but not how to set it, I will send a picture of how it's set now in a bit.

I would set 3 in and 3 out, skip 1 each time so they're evenly spaced.  Pull one out if it's backlashing or push one in if casting is too restricted.
