I ordered this reel from Japan and didn’t notice the different spool. Every steez a I see online has a mag force spool and not an sv, is this like a jdm model or was the sv spool put in by the seller? Thanks

I can get a cheaper spool for the 2500 then the 3000 and would like to have 2 just in case I want to switch from flourocarbon to braid, thank you for the help though!

I currently have a daiwa ballistic LT3000D-C, I was wondering if I could buy a 2500 spool and interchange them? -Thanks

I am looking to get a replica made but not knowing length or girth seems to be an issue, when I measured my hand and estimated the length that way it came out to around 25inches, does anyone have any estimates on length for this fish knowing that weight is 9lbs? Otherwise thank you everyone for you’re help!

Went out fishing with a guide today and caught this monster. We weight it and it went 9.08lbs. We got a rough estimate with fishing line for a replica but they came out to 29in by 21.5. That would make it wayyy bigger. Would you guys say the weight seems accurate for a fish this big? I caught it here in Florida and I’m from Minnesota so a fish this big to me is insane and I can’t even throw an estimate out there.

But after spending that much money is the SV light LTD going to already have these upgrades? How does that one compare to the SS SV? I don’t know if I want to spend another 100 something bucks on something I can have already perform good for around 300$.

Should I do that or return it and get the SV light LTD for 300$ on tackle warehouse?

I recently picked up a Daiwa SS SV 103SH, I got it for 200$ on eBay because it was a pretty good deal being that it’s MSRP is around 350$. But after looking at reviews I feel like I made a mistake. I’m going to be using it for jerkbaits and finnese swimbaits... etc. should I keep this reel or return it and get a diffrent one? If so which should I get.

My plueger president le used to click when I opened the nail and only does it when I close it now. I have taken it apart and can’t seem to find the issue. Anyone Input by anyone who works on reels or knows how to fix it would be much appreciated.

Was melting some plastics to make into new baits when my injector popped open and sprayed a little bit on my hoodie. Anyone know how to get this stuff out of you’re cloths? Lol
