Hi all, I am going to Florida this week and was hoping to do some fishing. It would be wherever I could walk/drive to fairly close. I wil be staying in the Destin area. I want to go after bass, and redfish or trout, but really open to all. I heard the Choctawatchee bay was good for redfish and trout. Any other places/suggestions for bass/redfish or others?

Thanks!

The most reputable bass water in the panhandle is Lake Talquin (used to be Jackson), but it's a 100-mile trip.

Much closer to Destin are the golf ponds in Sandestin Resort, though I've never fished them myself.

Red drum are everywhere, you need go no farther than Choctawhatchee Bay just east of Destin.
