a 13.97 was caught at Belton this weekend in a tourney...  I have no affiliation with the angler or tourney- just saw the pic and story online and wanted to share since we have some Belton area members.

Beastly lady, for sure! :)

Wow!

Is it that big or is he just short?

No offense to short people.

Big fish, good pic angle...

Update, I heard from a friend that TPWD did not accept it into sharelunker because it was already spawned out.  So it was released back into Belton Lake. I imagine it would have been another 1.5-2 lbs if she was full.  Ya think?

WOW!! that thing is huge!! I want one!!!!!

Neither.  Look at his hands and left arm, he is pushing the fish out toward the camera.  For heavens sake, that is a great fish, no need to distort the picture by messing with a forced perspective.  It almost looks like a picture taken in a fun house mirror.

A fish that size held tight in front of you gives great perspective and does justice to the true size of that hawg.
