I'm thinking of upgrading my jig rod and curious to see what all the NRX hypre is about.  Which NRX casting rod for a 1/2 oz football jig and trailer?

    You will want the 894. There are a few others that will work but not quite as well.

    What kind of cover are you fishing?  Either the 873crr or 894c would fish that weight nicely.  The 894 is 2" longer and a little more powerful.

    I completely agree with 894 or 873. In my opinion the 873 has a slightly faster tip, and just as much back bone even though it's a 3 power it behaves more like a 4 power. Have many hours on both rods.
